It’s crazy, because while I love the new format (it’s actually the format, I believed was in place when I signed up), I don’t like that it is merely associated with readtime percentages. If I only read one story a month, and it’s a crappy (lol) story, I don’t want that writer to get $5. But, if I read 50 stories (each for the same amount of time), I don’t want the readers that I like to only get 10 cents, when the bad writers get just as much. Also, if we are getting a certain percentage of what a reader is paying a month… how can our earnings be solid day to day? Does this mean that our earnings also fluctuate day to day? At least with claps, they may change but they also may not.
