These are all great points. However, there is also distinction as to the characteristics of the Dajjal’s parents. I believe (and I follow eschatology wholeheartedly) that, yes, AI may be a major tool of the Dajjal, but I still believe the Dajjal will be an actual heartless, soulless person. When they talk about his physical appearance and his eye being like a grape, I always wonder if “he” is always like this — or if he becomes this way after some type of accident. There are so many similarities between the Christian Antichrist and the Dajjal that I can’t help but think about how the Antichrist is said to be shot in the head and come back to life — if these same lines blur, maybe he is shot in the eye (or it grazes his eye).

After reading your article, however, you do have me thinking — What if when you say AI, what if it was a robot like this Sophia — Wasn’t she given citizenship in the UAE? If so, what would that mean going forward? Also, storylines in movies like iRobot could strengthen what you have just proposed. So, this is pretty interesting to think about. In this aspect, yes, he would definitely be a man without a heart and soul.

Great article!
